PlayIT Show 2026 Budapest: Your Next Arrival
Two days of gaming. One new venue. A considered arrival for every guest.
Telekom PlayIT Show 2026 comes to MTK Sportpark on December 5–6. The official PlayIT announcement brings gaming, creators and shared experiences into the same Budapest venue that formed part of last year’s StarLadder Major story. We remember the journeys behind that event. Now VanBudapest.com is ready to plan the next ones.

Visitor information checked October 7, 2026. Times and entry details: official PlayIT FAQ.
Choose your next world.
PlayIT combines hands-on gaming with stage entertainment and a wider visitor program. Here is what the organizer has announced so far; check the official program page as the lineup develops.
John Romero
The DOOM co-creator is announced for Saturday and Sunday, with photo and autograph opportunities and the chance to face him in a DOOM 1v1. The organizer will publish participation details and exact autograph times separately. Plan around the confirmed session once it appears; a general admission ticket should not be read as a guaranteed match slot.
The main stage
PlayIT Nagyszínpad powered by MVM brings conversations, challenges, quizzes and guest appearances. The detailed running order is still to come.
CS2 Masters
TippmixPRO CS2 Masters is announced with 2v2 matches. Follow PlayIT for participation details rather than assuming a Major-style tournament format.
Retro & simulators
Classic PCs and consoles meet a simulator area built around virtual racing. A natural pairing for visitors who enjoy both nostalgia and hands-on play.
The family zone
Games, skill challenges and VR experiences feature in the announced family program. Specific activity conditions may vary.
Guests & themed zones
More creator announcements are expected. The program also lists an 18+ gaming zone and a casino-themed play area explicitly described as using no real money.
For individual activities, age restrictions and new announcements, return to PlayIT’s program listings.
Pick the day. Check the ticket.
Saturday and Sunday each have their own admission options. Children under six enter free. The official ticket page is the place to check availability, eligibility and the final amount before buying.

A little preparation helps.
VIP Loot admission starts at 9:00 a.m., one hour before general opening, and uses a separate queue. The ticket shop lists a loot bag and VIP-zone access. Follow the organizer’s VIP instructions for collection and entry; do not assume an early vehicle arrival gives standard ticket holders early admission.
The family option is described as two adults and two children. Age wording in the ticket descriptions is not fully consistent, so confirm your children’s eligibility with PlayIT if the age boundary affects your booking. Child/student tickets require the identification specified in the ticket shop.
A phone ticket is accepted. Keep the screen readable and the battery charged. Admission is exchanged for a wristband; keep it intact for re-entry, and do not plan to share a weekend wristband between different people.
OPEN OFFICIAL TICKETSMTK Sportpark: get the entrance right.
The venue has changed. Build your route around the current PlayIT arrival instructions, with access to the entrance from Kerepesi út.
Gumigyár stop
PlayIT recommends trolleybus 73 or 80, followed by a walk from Gumigyár. Check service conditions for your travel day and allow time for the entrance queue.
No visitor parking at the Sportpark
The organizer says parking will not be available at MTK Sportpark and recommends the Aréna Plaza parking facility. This is a parking suggestion, not a reserved space or an included event benefit. PlayIT’s FAQ does not specify that facility’s event-day prices or availability.
Agree on the meeting point
For a VanBudapest.com transfer, confirm a legal, accessible drop-off and return meeting point before travel. Event access rules determine the final arrangement. A chauffeur booking does not include venue parking, backstage access or permission to stop at the entrance.
Two listed addresses, one entrance instruction
The PlayIT ticket page and MTK’s official venue listing give 1087 Budapest, Kerepesi út 17. PlayIT’s FAQ also identifies the complex as Taxi utca 2, while explicitly directing visitors to the entrance from Kerepesi út. Use that event-specific approach when arranging your pickup or drop-off.
Airport, hotel, show — with the return planned too
If your group arrives at Budapest Airport, an airport-to-hotel transfer can be booked separately from the hotel-to-PlayIT journey. Share each flight number, arrival day, hotel, passenger count and luggage requirements. Camera cases, larger suitcases and cosplay pieces need to be included in the capacity discussion.
For the ride home, distinguish the show’s 6:00 p.m. closing time from the time your party will actually be ready. Walking out, collecting coats and regrouping take time. Choose a return arrangement that fits your plans, and confirm any waiting or schedule changes in the quotation. We do not promise a fixed journey time through December traffic.
We remember the journeys behind the Major.
About a year before this PlayIT weekend, Budapest welcomed the 2025 StarLadder Counter-Strike Major. MTK Sportpark formed part of that event’s venue story. For VanBudapest.com, the memories include transporting players and participants: the meeting signs, the arrivals and the moments between the hotel and the competition.
These photographs from our Major gallery bring a few of those moments back. A new weekend now brings the gaming community to the Sportpark again — and we are ready to plan its journeys.

Premium Mercedes travel for the next chapter.
The premium vehicle categories behind our event transport work are available to request for this weekend too. Choose the category around the people, luggage and schedule; the final vehicle and availability are confirmed with your booking. These are current VanBudapest.com fleet photographs, not pictures of a PlayIT deployment.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Request the S-Class for a guest appearance, brand representative or private airport arrival. Its role in the plan is a personal journey with room to settle before the next commitment.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class
An executive option for individual visitors, business guests and scheduled point-to-point travel. Match the passenger and luggage requirements to the vehicle before confirming.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class
Keep a creator and support team, a small brand delegation or a group of friends on the same itinerary. Let us know about filming equipment and luggage as well as seats.

Mercedes-Benz VIP Sprinter
Consider the VIP Sprinter when a group wants a more spacious shared journey. Larger minibus or coach requirements can also be discussed as part of the complete transport brief.
The cabin is part of the experience.
Exterior presence is only half the story. These E-Class, V-Class and VIP Sprinter interiors show three different ways to travel between an airport, a hotel and a full day at the show.

For airport bookings, our published fleet offering includes meet & greet with a name sign and flight monitoring. Review the current fleet details and confirm the selected configuration, luggage, child seats and itinerary in your quotation.
EXPLORE OUR FLEETTwo show days. One transport brief.
A strong event journey starts before the public doors open. VanBudapest.com welcomes enquiries from PlayIT exhibitors, brands, production teams, invited guests and content creators who need their passenger movements planned together.
Bring the people in
Group airport arrivals by flight and destination. Plan hotel transfers, guest pickups and journeys for staff involved in setup. Provide any organizer-approved access windows; passenger transport does not replace freight delivery or stand-building services.
Work around the program
Combine hotel–venue journeys with an hourly chauffeur or a dedicated driver for the agreed day. Separate public opening times from crew call times, interviews and guest commitments. The organizer’s confirmed schedule sets the brief.
Finish the itinerary
Plan returns, onward hotel journeys and airport departures alongside the inbound rides. If one group leaves earlier, record it in the itinerary instead of assuming every passenger will depart together.
What to send us
Include dates, flights, hotels, passenger numbers, luggage and equipment dimensions, required vehicle categories, first and last journeys, and one operational contact. Add separate arrival and return times for each group. We can then prepare a tailored proposal for the complete two-day requirement, including any agreed surrounding travel days.
Joining PlayIT itself
For a retail presence, use the official vendor application. For exhibiting or a brand presence, PlayIT directs enquiries to event@playit.hu. Press, content creators and influencers should follow the official press accreditation process; an application is not automatic approval.
Use those channels for participation in the show, and VanBudapest.com’s quote form for your transport plan.
A useful final check.
Keep the official visitor FAQ close at hand. These details can affect both your day at the show and the time you need around your transfer.
Coats, bags & drinks
The FAQ lists cloakrooms on both levels, at HUF 500 per deposit when checked, with free use for VIP Loot guests. Its drink rule permits one PET bottle or drinking bottle of up to 0.5 liters; check the full restrictions before packing. Do not infer a wider food policy from that allowance.
Cosplay & assistance
No cosplay changing room is announced. Props must meet the organizer’s safety rules; ask PlayIT about uncertain items before traveling. Pets are not admitted under the general rule. Visitors with an assistance animal are asked to contact the organizer in advance.
Payment & belongings
The FAQ says food counters accept cash and cards, while vendor payment options vary. For lost belongings, ask at a cloakroom or the ticket desk. Allow time for these practical stops before your return pickup.
Photos & access
Photography and video are permitted in public visitor areas according to PlayIT. Restricted areas require the appropriate access. A transport reservation does not provide accreditation; confirm filming and backstage requirements with the organizer.
PlayIT travel questions, answered.
When and where is PlayIT Show 2026?
December 5–6, 2026, at MTK Sportpark in Budapest. General opening is 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. each day; VIP Loot entry starts at 9:00 a.m. See the current official FAQ.
Can I park at MTK Sportpark for PlayIT?
The organizer says no visitor parking will be available there and recommends Aréna Plaza parking. Arrange parking or a private transfer before traveling, and follow the event’s entrance guidance.
Does a VIP Loot ticket include a VanBudapest.com transfer?
No transport inclusion is represented here. PlayIT tickets and VanBudapest.com chauffeur services are separate bookings. Choose your admission through PlayIT and request transport through our quote form.
Can we book a chauffeur for both days?
Yes, request a plan covering both show days, with airport arrivals and departures added as needed. State the hours, routes and passenger requirements so the proposal can specify the agreed service, waiting arrangements and availability.
Can a creator team travel with camera cases?
Include every passenger and item of luggage or equipment, with dimensions for larger cases. We will discuss a suitable vehicle configuration. Do not assume that the maximum seat count also leaves room for every equipment case.
Are the Major photographs from PlayIT?
No. The three photographs in the memory section are from the 2025 StarLadder Major archive. The vehicle showcase uses separate current fleet photographs. Neither is presented as photography of the forthcoming PlayIT Show.
Is VanBudapest.com an official PlayIT partner?
This guide offers independent transport planning and an invitation to work with VanBudapest.com. It does not announce an official partnership with PlayIT or imply endorsement by the guests pictured in the archive.
Bring the brief.
We will plan the journeys.
From one guest arriving at Budapest Airport to a brand team moving across two full show days, tell us what your PlayIT weekend needs. We are ready to build a private transport proposal around it.
