Csabai Sausage Festival 2026: A Table Worth Traveling For

Bring the people.
Leave the journey to your chauffeur.

The 29th Csabai Sausage Festival takes place at CsabaPark in Békéscsaba, October 22–25, 2026, according to the official festival website. For a company gathering or a group of friends traveling from Budapest, it is an invitation to build a day around Hungarian food—and arrange the return before the tasting begins.

Four days · Békéscsaba · CsabaPark

01 / MORE THAN A MEAL

A festival built around making, sharing and tasting

The organizer’s latest competition preview puts sausage-making at the center of the four days. Children open the sequence, students follow, and the weekend brings international teams and a company-focused competition. It is food as a shared activity, with visitors able to follow the work around the tables.

That gives a hosted visit a useful focus. Your guests can have a day together outside the meeting room, with a program to explore and time for conversation. Start by choosing the part of the festival that interests the group; then work backward to the departure from Budapest.

02 / FOUR DAYS, DIFFERENT REASONS TO GO

Choose the day before you choose the departure

THURSDAY / 22

The opening

Children’s sausage-making competition. Rúzsa Magdi is among the announced performers.

FRIDAY / 23

The student tables

High-school and university competitors take their turn. Concert highlights include Neoton Família and Wellhello.

SATURDAY / 24

The international gathering

Sausage-making in the Mokry tent and Munkácsy Arena. Kowalsky meg a Vega is on the concert lineup.

SUNDAY / 25

The company challenge

The international 2.0 competition includes the company contest. Dzsúdló features in the closing-day lineup.

The organizer announces sausage-making competitions from 10:00 daily. This overview combines its competition announcement and concert highlights; consult the current program for the full running order. Participation and spectator admission have their own arrangements.

03 / CORPORATE HOSPITALITY

An invitation that includes the journey

For a host company, the trip begins with the invitation. Tell guests which day you have chosen, where they should meet and when you expect to return. A colleague visiting Hungary for the first time should not have to piece together the route to a regional festival while also understanding the program.

VanBudapest.com can prepare the corporate passenger transport around your plans: collect the party at one Budapest address, coordinate more than one pickup where necessary, or arrange an airport arrival before joining the group. Give the transport contact the confirmed itinerary and a person who can make decisions for the party.

If your company enters a competition, separate the team’s required arrival from the guests’ visit. Competitors may have equipment and preparation to organize. Describe all items that need to travel, and confirm with the festival what may be brought inside. A comfortable passenger vehicle is not automatically a production van or a food-storage solution.

A hosted festival visit can remain informal while its transport is carefully organized. The quotation should identify the journeys, vehicle, reserved waiting or availability, and any separate return groups. That makes the service understandable to both the host and the people accepting the invitation.

Vehicle comfort and festival hospitality are separate bookings. The organizer’s Club Gourmet VIP access requires its own VIP wristband. A VIP Sprinter reservation does not include that access, competition entry, meals or festival tickets.

04 / LEAVE TIME AT THE TABLE

A day trip should have a return you actually want

The festival’s program also lists a stuffed-cabbage cooking competition on Sunday. Food interests can shape your chosen visit just as much as the evening music. Decide together what the group most wants to see before setting the collection time.

For a same-day trip, the drive belongs on both sides of the festival visit. A late concert and a return to Budapest make a different day from a daytime food outing. If you prefer an overnight stay, share the accommodation address and the next day’s departure requirements when requesting your proposal.

Private transport lets the guests enjoy their chosen tastings without taking turns as the group’s driver. The chauffeur’s service period and the return still need to be agreed in advance.

05 / CHOOSE YOUR COMPANY ON THE ROAD

A vehicle for the party—and everything traveling with it

For a smaller party traveling together, with the passenger and luggage allocation agreed before departure. Useful when an airport arrival forms part of the visit.

For a company group, colleagues or friends who want one coordinated departure. Send the complete headcount and any bags or agreed equipment.

Sprinter VIP

For a hosted group that places particular emphasis on the cabin experience. Request the category and confirm its suitability for your actual party.

See the fleet and luggage guidance. Passenger numbers and bags are considered together; larger groups can request an appropriate coach proposal. A vehicle assignment is confirmed with the booking.

06 / THE LAST PART OF THE ROUTE

Use the visitor address. Agree the meeting point.

At CsabaPark

The official visitor FAQ gives the festival address as 5600 Békéscsaba, Gyulai út 61/2. The organizer’s office address in the website footer is different. Use the visitor address in the transport request and confirm the appropriate entrance and permitted drop-off.

The festival lists parking arrangements, while vehicle entry into the event site requires permission. A private chauffeur booking does not create an access entitlement inside the grounds.

At the end of your visit

Choose an identifiable collection point and make sure the whole party has the instructions. Keep one reachable group contact, particularly if people separate to see different parts of the program.

Allow time to leave the festival and reach the vehicle. If the return changes, contact the agreed transport representative and confirm the revised arrangement; extra waiting should not be assumed to be unlimited.

07 / BUDAPEST → BÉKÉSCSABA

Request one proposal for the complete trip

This journey belongs within VanBudapest.com’s long-distance private transfer service. Send the Budapest pickup address or flight details, your chosen festival day, passenger count, luggage and preferred return. Add any hotel stop or overnight stay. The exact route and itinerary determine the proposal.

For a dedicated vehicle during the visit, specify the service period and any local movements. The published Budapest hourly service is useful for understanding reserved chauffeur time, but this regional festival trip receives an individual quotation.

For guests arriving from abroad, ask about a direct Budapest Airport collection. Flight monitoring and a confirmed meeting arrangement help organize the arrival; the onward journey still needs enough time for the flight’s actual arrival, luggage collection and your first commitment in Békéscsaba.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Useful answers for the host and the group

Can we attend without entering a sausage-making competition?

Plan your visit as spectators and consult the organizer for admission and the current program. Competition registration is a separate matter; transport does not include either form of entry.

Can the driver remain available during the visit?

Yes, request a dedicated service period and list any additional journeys. The confirmed quote defines availability, waiting and the return. An outward transfer alone does not reserve the vehicle for the whole festival day.

Can we begin at Budapest Airport instead of a hotel?

Yes. Supply the flight details, passengers and luggage, plus your destination and return plan. Include a hotel stop if guests need to check in before the festival.

What should we know about tickets and spending inside?

Check the organizer’s visitor guidance. Online ticket coupons are exchanged for wristbands; the site lists bank-card and FestiPay payments at vendors. Review current admission details before traveling.

Does the group quote include food or VIP festival admission?

No. The transport quotation covers its stated passenger services. Festival tickets, hospitality, food and competition arrangements are separate unless specific additional assistance is expressly confirmed.
