Future of Construction & Property Awards 2026: The Ride Home

A day of industry conversations. An evening of recognition. A return journey worth arranging now.

November 12 has two entries worth putting in the same travel brief: Portfolio’s Future of Construction conference and Property Awards, both at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. If your company is attending both, the transport plan should reach beyond the morning arrival.

At VanBudapest.com, we can arrange evening chauffeur availability, a dedicated car and driver for the full day, or group transfers for colleagues and hosted guests. Start with the people who need to get home after the awards. The rest of the day is easier to organize around them.

Thursday, November 12

Two events. One venue.

The conference

Future of Construction 2026

Portfolio’s construction-industry meeting explores more efficient building, with AI, BIM, prefabrication and sustainability among its announced themes.

Both official listings give November 12 and the Marriott. Confirm your admission arrangements with Portfolio for each event; organize transport around the final program and your guests’ plans.

Give the return journey its own plan

The most delicate part may come after the applause

A conversation runs on. A director is ready to leave. Three colleagues want another half hour. If several parties request their cars together, the departure plan needs more detail than a hotel name and a guessed finish time.

The Budapest Marriott Hotel is at Apáczai Csere János utca 4, beside the Danube. It offers paid on-site self parking; availability and the appropriate vehicle meeting point still need checking. Agree the pickup arrangement in advance, especially for minibuses. View the hotel on Google Maps →

  1. Group guests by destination.Separate those returning to one hotel from guests heading to different home addresses.
  2. Give departures a window.Identify an earlier group and a later group if useful. Keep the final conversation in mind when setting the reserved service period.
  3. Name the person who calls the car.One company contact can confirm when each party is ready and where they should meet the chauffeur.

Reserve enough time for the evening you want

Our current hourly conditions specify a minimum of three service hours plus one garage hour. Waiting between stops falls within the booked time. Parking is paid separately on site, and published hourly rates apply within Budapest. Longer assignments, multiple vehicles and journeys outside the city are quoted individually; extensions on the day depend on availability.

Plan in September. Arrive prepared in November.

Put the journey home in the company brief

Send us November 12, your provisional guest count, hotels or pickup addresses, return destinations, preferred service window and any airport legs. Add the company or agency contact and billing requirements. We will build the transport proposal around that brief, then confirm the agreed arrangements in writing.

Request a corporate quote

Before you send the request

Can we request a quote before the guest list is final?

Yes. Send a provisional headcount and the movements you expect. Tell us what remains undecided so the proposal can identify what must be finalized before booking confirmation.

Should we book one departure time for everyone?

Only if that suits the group. For different destinations or guests who want to leave earlier, ask us to plan separate departures within the agreed service window.

Does a chauffeur quote include the event tickets?

No. Register for the conference and awards through Portfolio, checking the admission scope of your chosen offer. Our quote concerns the transport arrangements you request.
