Current highlights and ticket essentials
The restored 4K concert film Queen Budapest opens the festival at Uránia on September 15. The official opening-gala page says that gala is private and admission is by invitation only.
Open-air screenings run nightly at 8:00 p.m. at Budapest Garden Cinema: Niagara, Amélie, Whooping Cough, Dog’s Night Song, Solo Sunny, and Thelma and Louise.
The official ticket page lists standard tickets at HUF 1,500 and separately lists Queen Budapest at Uránia at HUF 4,900. NFI Film Archive screenings and professional programs are free. Because sales routes are venue-specific—and the opening gala itself is invitation-only—verify the exact screening, language or subtitles, availability and admission route on the official ticket page.
