The festival’s current official approach page recommends the area near the cash desk on Palota Road for taxi arrivals and departures, followed by the elevator to Csikós Courtyard. It also describes pedestrian entry from Szent György Street through the Beggar/Baroque Gate. These are useful organizer-published references, not permanent guarantees for every vehicle or every hour.
Search note for local planners: Budai Vár transzfer means a transfer to the Buda Castle area; it does not automatically mean vehicle access to the festival entrance itself. That distinction is why the last few hundred meters should be planned, not improvised.
