A distinctive first stop
The Blue Church
Officially the Church of St Elizabeth, this pale-blue Art Nouveau landmark makes an elegant beginning before the historic centre. Its glazed decoration and rounded forms reward a closer look rather than a photograph from a moving vehicle.
Standard programmes treat the church as an exterior visit. Interior access is limited and can change around services and special events, so entry is never assumed unless it has been separately checked and agreed.

Bratislava Old Town
The pedestrian centre contains Bratislava at its most intimate: narrow lanes, elegant squares, historic façades and cafés within a compact walking area.
A self-guided route can connect Hviezdoslav Square, Čumil, Main Square, the Old Town Hall, the Primate’s Palace exterior, Franciscan Square, Michael’s Gate, Ventúrska Street and St Martin’s Cathedral.
Your chauffeur confirms the collection point before the walk and can share it digitally. This logistical assistance does not replace professional historical commentary.

The extended route
Castle heights and Slavín
Bratislava Castle is the city’s visual anchor. Its courtyards, terraces and restored Baroque Garden open towards broad views across the Danube. The standard programme focuses on the exterior grounds, keeping the route reliable even when exhibition opening hours do not match the travel date.
Slavín adds a different mood: a monumental war memorial and cemetery with one of Bratislava’s widest urban panoramas. It is best given a genuine extra half hour rather than forced into the three-hour programme.

Does the sightseeing time include the journey from Budapest?
No. The 2, 3 and 3.5-hour durations refer to the programme in Bratislava. A standard private day trip begins with collection in Budapest, includes the selected Bratislava programme and finishes with the return to Budapest; the cross-border driving time is planned separately.
Can we continue to Vienna after Bratislava?
Yes. Bratislava works naturally as a stop between Budapest and Vienna. The programme must be planned around the requested Vienna arrival time.
Are attraction interiors and tickets included?
Not by default. The standard route uses exterior landmarks, public grounds and a self-guided Old Town walk. Tickets and interior visits must be confirmed separately.
Can we go inside the Blue Church?
Interior access cannot be guaranteed. It is an active church with limited visiting periods, so the standard itinerary treats it as an exterior stop.
How much luggage fits in the V-Class?

Can the route be adapted for reduced mobility?
