Sziget 2026 runs from Tuesday, August 11 through Saturday, August 15 on Óbuda Island, with the final Saturday night continuing into Sunday morning. The official lineup includes Bring Me The Horizon, Florence + The Machine, Lewis Capaldi, Twenty One Pilots, Zara Larsson, Argy, Biffy Clyro, Charlotte Cardin, Dom Dolla, Loyle Carner, Parcels, Richie Hawtin, Underworld, Vintage Culture and Wolf Alice, among many others.
With more than 600 programs expected, the useful question is not only whom you want to see. It is how you will move through the entire week. A Sziget Festival transfer plan should connect Budapest Airport, your accommodation, five island visits, late-night returns and the flight home.
From daylight to after midnight
Understand the shape of a Sziget day
A day ticket permits entry from 8:00 a.m. and is valid until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. That does not mean every stage starts at 8:00. It means your day can stretch from daytime workshops and cultural programs through afternoon performances, evening headliners and electronic music after midnight.

Breakfast, recovery, phone charging and checking the official app for program changes.
Afternoon
Art, circus, dance, workshops, sports, food and exploring the island before peak crowds.
Evening
The busiest arrival period and the major live performances across multiple venues.
Late night
Electronic stages, after-hours programs and the highest pressure on return transportation.
Practical rule: save favorite acts in the official Sziget app, then add walking and regrouping time. A scheduled pickup is not the same as stepping directly from a stage into a vehicle.

What to bring—and what to leave behind
Bring your photo ID, ticket or mobile boarding pass, charged phone, portable battery, payment card, sunscreen, a weather-appropriate layer and a refillable plastic bottle. Advance-booked lockers can reduce the amount you carry.
Sziget’s published rules prohibit alcohol, energy drinks, glass, umbrellas, pyrotechnics, dangerous tools and weapons, gas equipment and drugs. Bicycles and scooters cannot enter the festival area. Under the general rule, one PET bottle containing up to 2.5 liters of a non-alcoholic drink and food in a non-commercial quantity may be brought in.
Always recheck the official guide before leaving your accommodation because operational or heat-emergency rules can change.

1. Airport Meet & Greet

2. Daily accommodation pickup

4. Group vehicle plan
Use a Mercedes-Benz V-Class for a smaller party, Sprinter minibus for a larger international group, or a coach when passenger numbers and operating conditions justify it.
5. Protected airport departure
If the flight leaves Sunday, connect the final return with recovery, luggage collection, checkout and the correct airport buffer.
Access stays separate
Private transportation does not include Sziget VIP admission, priority entry or unrestricted bridge access. Festival tickets and access rights remain the guest’s responsibility.
Late-night reality: Sziget’s official travel information identifies 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. as peak taxi departure hours with first-come, first-served operation at the designated stands. A pre-arranged transfer replaces improvisation with a confirmed meeting plan, but traffic rules, legal waiting locations and chauffeur duty limits still apply.

What if the concert finishes later than expected?
