There’s a specific moment every travel year has—the instant “someday” turns into “book it.” In Budapest, that moment often happens indoors, under bright expo lighting, with a map in one hand and a half-formed plan in the other.
Utazás+ (Travel+)—Hungary’s flagship travel exhibition—returns February 19–22, 2026 at HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. And the hook is simple: this isn’t just a tourism fair. It’s a compact, four-day preview of how people will travel next—where they’ll go, what they’ll spend on, and which trends will actually stick.
One ticket also covers major co-events, turning the venue into a full-scale “mobility + travel + lifestyle” playground. If you only pick one winter weekend program in Budapest that’s both inspiring and practical, this is the one that reliably delivers.

When Should You Go?
Thursday (Feb 19) is best if you’re in the industry—meetings, networking, business-focused flow. Friday is usually the sweet spot—active, but not peak-crowded. Saturday brings the biggest general-audience energy. And Sunday is a shorter day (closes at 16:00), so arrive earlier than you think.
The most common mistake: assuming one general ticket covers every day. It doesn’t. Trade day (Thursday) requires a separate ticket, while public tickets cover Friday through Sunday.
Four Events. Four Days. One Experience.
